Landing and Occupants at Sacsahuaman, Peru, 1965 It was shortly before noon on August 20, 1965, when numerous people observed a small disc- shaped object land on a terrace of the ancient Incan stone fortress of Sacsahuaman, located just outside of Cuzco, Peru. Among the many eyewitnesses present was an engineer, one Senor Alberto Ugarte, his wife, and their friend Senor Elwin Voter. As they watched in astonishment two small humanoid beings of dazzling brightness emerged from the silvery colored disc, which was about 1 _ meters (five feet) wide. Looking around the two dwarfish entities were apparently disturbed to see the many humans nearby, and soon returned back inside their craft which rose quickly into the air and disappeared off toward the western horizon. At this time, Peru was experiencing a major UFO wave that included many puzzling reports of small humanoid beings who stood approximately 32-34 inches tall. These reports were seriously pondered and chronicled by many leading ufologists including Jim and Coral Lorenzen, Gordon Creighton, and Professor Jacques Vallee. This particular landing and entity case appears to have been one of the more authenticated multiple-eyewitness incidents of that period. References: 1. The Humanoids, edited by Charles Bowen.
