In his introduction, Philip Coppens begins by quoting an Arabian proverb which went, “Man fears time, yet time fears the pyramids.” He returns to that theme at the conclusion of his book, a book that takes you the reader throughout the world, exploring innumerable pyramid sites, bringing to light tantalizing new clues and insights into their ancient purposes and construction secrets. In Chapter 1, The Land Of The Nile, Coppens begins his pyramid book by focusing on those of Egypt, which is where most people’s minds and imaginations race off to when you mention this subject. He presents a very good overview of the evidence and controversies that have arisen over the Egyptian pyramids, detailing the interpretations and clashes between Egyptologists, “Atlanteologists,” and ancient astronaut theorists, along with the latest evidence of scientific dating of the pyramids (unpleasing to many Egyptologists and Atlanteologists alike), and important new theories that indicate that Egyptians may have used large kites to lift and move huge stone blocks, and that they may have also made some blocks out of cement rather than chiseling them from stone!

Coppens has written a challenging and thought-provoking book on the global presence of ancient pyramids. Though as already stated many associate pyramids automatically with Egypt, the author of this book takes you on an exciting global and historical journey (complete with photographs) that will open your eyes to a world covered with pyramids of similar shape, size and age found in such diverse places as Peru, the Yucatan, China, Turkey, Italy, Bosnia, etc.

Coppens has studied the myths and legends from the regions and the peoples of these ancient pyramid sites, carefully looking for important and revealing clues that would shed light upon the meaning and purposes for these massive stone structures. Coppens explains why the pyramid was seen by some ancient people as a “sign of creation” and a “place outside of time.” They are certainly locations of deep and ancient mystery, with many fascinating and potential clue containing legends.

I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the subject of ancient pyramids. The author has presented all of the latest and essential facts known about these intriguing sites.

At long last, Wyatt Cox has written the book that some of us have long been anticipating! The author of UFO and Bigfoot Sightings in Alabama (2004), a book that touched upon this “spooklight mystery” and legend, now presents us with a volume that focuses exclusively upon this “spooklight” seen over the years near Cloverdale, in the northwestern part of Alabama. Since 1977, Wyatt has had more than 180 sightings of this mystery light, and many intriguing photographs taken by him and his long-time friend and associate Greg Keeton are included in this book.

Read Wyatt’s detailed and first hand accounts of his investigations, sightings and research into this phenomenon, and learn why he began to speculate that this mysterious glowing orb may be a plasmoid form of geophysical origin. A spectacular sighting of one of these lights hovering over a railroad track and then moving along with a passing train, at the same apparent speed, got Wyatt to researching other spooklights where there is a train track connection and wondering if magnetism was somehow a factor.

To their credit, Wyatt and Greg entertained all of the popular notions and speculations that they learned about. They explored a wide-range of theories, from John Keel’s ultraterrestrials and electromagnetic theory, to Dr. Thomas Bearden’s psychic/archetypal/quantum physics theories (a researcher whom they came to know personally and had much respect for).

In this book, Courageous Souls, author Robert Schwartz tackles the question of why “bad” things happen to people. It comes from a unique perspective that few of us have considered. He discovered that some people have found that these “bad,” seemingly meaningless and tragic life events were actually planned before their birth. In this book, Schwartz delves deeply into the stories of ten people who reportedly learned that before their birth, while they were still spirit, they created a blueprint for their future life, one that was intended to expand their spiritual growth and evolution. Schwartz also utilized the help of four gifted mediums to gather more information on the supposed pre-birth planning activities.

It’s a thought-provoking and controversial book that will definitely give many of you reason to pause, ponder, and reflect upon who we are at the soul level of our beings.
