In another reprint of an earlier Steiger classic, Brad explores the strange Shadow World of multidimensional beings, tricksters, shape-shifters, “nature spirits,” poltergeists, even mimics who impersonate us, and some just downright demonic sounding characters. Whatever their explanation, origin, or ultimate reality, you’ll have a hell of a time prying your fingers loose from this riveting book of true spine-chilling supernatural accounts written up as only the master storywriter himself can do!

Brad Steiger offers his readers various thoughtful and carefully researched possible interpretations for these very puzzling manifestations, suggesting also helpful guidelines, prayers, and other strategies in dealing with any Shadow World interactions that may unexpectedly intrude into our own lives.

Warwick Associates (www.warwickassociates.net) has kindly provided me with an advance proof of this book that is soon to be released in November. The author Dr. Bob Curran is a noted folklore expert and has previously authored such popular books as Celtic Lore & Legend: Meet the Gods, Heroes, Kings, Fairies, Monsters and Ghosts of Yore, Encyclopedia of the Undead: A field Guide to Creatures That Cannot Rest in Peace, and Vampires and Celtic Lore and Legend. In addition, Dr. Curran is an acclaimed historian and has advised the Cultural Committee of the Northern Ireland Legislative Assembly, and is a popular history teacher and lecturer on matters of Celtic lore, the arcane and the mysterious.

Lost Lands, Forgotten Realms fires up ones imagination with twenty-three chapters with such titles and directions of exploration as The Garden of Eden, The Avalon, Yggdrasil, Atlantis, Lemuria, Shangri-La, El Dorado, Bimini and the Fountain of Youth, Subterranean Worlds, The Lair of Judaculla, The Lost Dutchman Mine, to name but a few. As your editor, I know that many of these chapters are subjects of tremendous interest to a large portion of our readership, and I am pleased to report that the accounts are well-written, very informative, and very entertaining.

Dr. Curran is certainly a skilled storyteller of extraordinary talent who transports with ease the psyches of his readers, enabling them to envision mythological and otherworldly destinations, possibilities, and landscapes scattered throughout the world. Could there be, in the ancient ruins, stories, legends, and myths of so many diverse cultures of our world, potentially vital information, clues, and insights into true and hidden realities, wisdom, and knowledge that, over time, has become lost to us and has escaped the firm grasp of the science and intellectual comprehension of so-called modern man? Perhaps embedded within the thought-provoking pages of this challenging book real clues to hidden gems of ancient truths are to be properly cultivated and harvested by you the reader.

Besides his entertaining, down right entrancing presentation style of material, Dr. Curran carefully and painstaking lays the foundation of each story with researched background information as well, and thoughtfully draws global, cross-cultural comparisons, and will suggest probable and likely explanations and interpretations when he can.
